Weekend rule: The Federal Government sometimes declares the next working day a holiday when a public holiday falls on a weekend. Those days are added once declared.
Note: The Federal Government declares Islamic holiday dates shortly before each holiday, and may declare a weekday off when a holiday falls on a weekend.

Employers can give extra days off, and some workers are covered by different rules. If a date matters for pay or a legal deadline, confirm it with your employer or the official source.
